The Allievi’s courses are organized according to this calendar and take place in the historical building that houses the Collegio. Up until 1998, it housed a Royal College, the Real Collegio Carlo Alberto, founded by King Carlo Alberto in 1838 and run by the religious order of the Barnabites.

It covered all grades up until the secondary school diploma and its original purpose was to prepare to government and military careers the sons of the local aristocracy and upper bourgeoisie.
