Marit and Toomas Hinnosaar win Research Awards

We are proud to announce that Toomas Hinnosaar, Assistant Professor of Economics, has been awarded the UniCredit & Universities Best PhD Thesis Award for his doctoral dissertation "Essays in Mechanism Design," one of only two recipients this year. In the meantime, Marit Hinnosaar, who will join the Collegio as Assistant Professor of Economics this summer, also won an award for her dissertation research. Her (job market) paper titled "Time Inconsistency and Alcohol Sales Restrictions" received the 2013 Public Utility Research Center Prize for the Best Paper in Regulatory Economics awarded in the occasion of the 11th Annual International Industrial Organization Conference In Boston in May 2013.
