The Collegio Introduction

The Collegio Carlo Alberto is housed in the historical building which up until 1998 was a Royal College covering all grades up until the secondary school diploma, founded by King Carlo Alberto and run by the religious order known as the Barnabites.  The use of the Collegio’s original name underlines the foundation’s commitment to “maintaining and increasing the value of the Collegio Carlo Alberto building complex, also through renovation and enlargement.” In the following pages the history of the Real Collegio and its important historical and artistic heritage is illustrated.
