Joint UNESCO-ICTP/Collegio Carlo Alberto Program in Economics

The Collegio Carlo Alberto and the UNESCO International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) welcome applications for the Master’s Program in Economics (http://www.carloalberto.org/education/master-economics/) within the Joint UNESCO-ICTP/Collegio Carlo Alberto Program in Economics. This admission procedure is reserved to outstanding applicants from developing countries that are members of UNESCO.

The program: The master’s program aims at endowing its students with advanced training in modern economic theory and methods. The courses are taught in English by the Collegio Carlo Alberto faculty, recruited from top schools on the international academic job market. Several additional courses taught by visiting professors (including UNESCO-ICTP faculty) are also available to students each year.

In addition to their coursework, master's students can interact with the faculty, fellows, and researchers of the Collegio. They also have full access to the Collegio's facilities and scientific activities, such as seminars, open lectures, and doctoral courses.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student is awarded the Master of Arts degree in Economics from the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

Eligibility: Potential candidates must be students with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics or related disciplines.

Financial aid: A number of scholarships are awarded to candidates based on merit.
