NASP-CCA Days 2025 edition
Frontiers of Methods in Social and Political Science
We are pleased to announce that applications to the NASP-CCA days 2025 are now open.
This three-day in-person workshop will expose NASP students to a range of frontier approaches implemented with a variety of methods including experimental and quasi-experimental approaches, qualitative and mixed-methods, and survey data research.
Drawing on their own research, scholars will focus on how to go from research questions and hypotheses to selecting, and discarding, methodologies. Put differently, it aims to provide students a look “under the hood” of social research. These choices will be explained in reference to a wide range of topics central to social and political sciences, such as conflict, intergroup relations, social norms, echo chambers, and education.
NASP students are invited to present their own doctoral work and receive comments from attending scholars and students. Student presentations will last 20 minutes with 25 minutes of open discussion. Students can also choose to present a poster version of their work.
To submit your application for a student presentation, please send an abstract (max. 250 words) of your work by 30th April 2025 to https://www.nasp.eu/cca-days-2025-application-form. You can use the same link to register for the workshop without presenting. Notifications for accepted abstracts will be sent by 16th May 2025.
