APPLY FOR AN ERC GRANT THROUGH COLLEGIO CARLO ALBERTO
ERC grants are open to researchers of any nationality who intend to conduct their research activity in any EU Member States.
The Collegio Carlo Alberto, Turin, Italy, is an optimal Host Institution through which researchers in the social and economic sciences employed at a University which is not eligible, can apply for an ERC grant and place their project. We offer top quality assistance in compiling the application, competitively low overheads, a slim bureaucracy and excellent facilities to successful applicants.
Principal Investigators in Starting, Consolidator and Advanced Grants are expected to spend no less than 50% of their total working time at the hosting institution, the Collegio in this case, whilst carrying out their ERC-funded research; but if they so wish they would be allowed to retain their current employment. Successful ERC applicants can also be considered for academic positions in one of the social sciences departments at the University of Torino1.
