Short bio

Fabio C. Bagliano is Professor of Economics at the University of Torino, where he teaches advanced courses in macroeconomics, econometrics and monetary economics, and is Deputy Director for Research of the Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics (ESOMAS).

A Research Fellow at Collegio Carlo Alberto, he co-founded and is a member of the scientific advisory board of the Center for Research on Pensions and Welfare Policies (CeRP), and of the scientific committee of LTI-Long-Term Investors @UniTo.

A former director of the postgraduate Masters in Finance program, he holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the LSE and is Director of the V. Pareto Ph.D. program in Economics at the University of Torino-Collegio Carlo Alberto.

His research in the fields of theoretical and applied macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics has been published in the European Economics Review, Journal of Banking and Finance, Review of Finance, Journal of Macroeconomics, Economic Modelling. He is a co-author of “Models of Dynamic Macroeconomics” (Oxford University Press) and “Economia Monetaria” (Il Mulino).

A former member of the International Advisory Board of the RAstaNEWS (Macro-Risk Assessment and Stabilization Policies with New Early Warning Signals) EU-FP7 consortium, he took part in national and international research projects as principal investigator or research team member.
