Solidarity to Harvard University in response to US Government restrictions
23 May 2025
The Collegio Carlo Alberto condemns the escalation by the United States Government aimed at limiting the freedom of American universities, revoking Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students.
With these restrictions Harvard not only would lose a fundamental component of its identity, but would also risk compromising the quality of research, cultural diversity, and the economic impact generated by these students, in the USA and beyond.
At a time in history when global challenges require collaborative and interdisciplinary solutions, denying access to brilliant minds from around the world appears as a short-sighted and harmful choice, slowing down progress toward a better future for all.
