The Economics Group at Collegio Carlo Alberto consists of 1) full-time resident faculty and 2) Fellows and Affiliates from the University of Turin. Every year, we go on the international academic job market to hire full-time junior faculty. This allows us to have an international internal faculty, hired from top institutions from all over the world.
Our faculty conducts research in most areas of economics, including applied economics, macroeconomics and microeconomic theory.
In our seminar series we invite every year international speakers who work on the research frontier of their fields.
Since 2006, we have hosted hundreds of international speakers, including Nobel laureates.
We provide education at all levels. We coordinate the Allievi Honors Program, which selects every year some of the best students of the University of Turin and the Polytechnic of Turin. We teach these students advanced classes in Economics. We also provide a Master in Economics and we host the PhD program of the University of Turin. English is the language of all our programs.
