New CCA chairs: Elena Esposito and Juan Vargas

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new chairs:

–Elena Esposito, former CCA Affiliate, has been appointed Junior Chair in Behavioural Development. Esposito (PhD in Economics, Università di Bologna) is Assistant Professor in Economics at ESOMAS Department, University of Torino. Her research focuses on development and economic growth, political economy, and economic history.

–Juan Vargas, Professor of Political Economy at the University of Turin, is the new Chair in Economics.
Vargas holds a PhD in Economics at the University of London and is a former Professor of Economics at the Universidad del Rosario, Colombia. His research fields are political economy of development and economics of crime and conflict.
