Brett McCully and Noemi Oggero win awards from the Italian Economic Association

Our Assistant Professor Brett McCully has been awarded the Young Italian Economist Award 2021 by the Italian Economic Association (SIE). Brett received the award, bestowed to the author of the best paper presented by a researcher under 35 years of age, for his paper “Immigrants, Legal Status, and Illegal Trade”.

The Italian Economic Association also gave a prize to the best PhD dissertation. The 2020 prize went to Noemi Oggero, former Allieva of the Collegio and graduate of our PhD program.
Noemi is now an Assistant Professor at the University of Turin.
