Collegio Carlo Alberto promotes financial education initiative with high school students

In this academic year, the Collegio Carlo Alberto Foundation is undertaking a series of economic-financial education initiatives with the students of the Liceo Classico D’Azeglio – a significant project to increase our outreach in the local community through ad hoc programs for high school students.

The project started last October, when a group of students of the D’Azeglio High School attended a guided visit to the exhibition “Libere di …VIVERE”, held at the Collegio as part of a bigger tour organized by the Global Thinking Foundation to raise awareness on the issue of economic violence against women.

Also, during this academic year, members of the Collegio’s Faculty as well as of the Associazione Allievi will give a series of lectures on financial education. The cycle kicked-off on December 17, 2020, when Emil Bandoni and Filippo Ascolani from the Associazione Allievi held an interactive Lecture for the school’s third-year students to introduce important financial and statistical concepts. Then, on January 25, 2021, Dino Gerardi, Dean of Collegio Carlo Alberto, gave a Lecture on “Introducing Economics”.

Other lectures will follow throughout the academic year.
