Financial education: From better personal finance to improved citizenship

Organized by CeRP-Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto, the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti de Martiis”, Università di Torino and the Department of Management and Production Engineering, Politecnico di Torino.

The Center for Research on Pensions and Welfare Policies (CeRP), Università di Torino, and Politecnico di Torino organize the FIRST TURIN WORKSHOP ON FINANCIAL LITERACY “Financial education: From better personal finance to improved citizenship”, a joint conference on the role of financial literacy in explaining households and entrepreneurs’ behavior. The workshop brings together researchers who are investigating new challenges of financial literacy from both the individual and the aggregate perspective, to discuss rigorous research and the effectiveness of financial education programs.
